yeh, its a good combo for sure  :happy2:, my only issue with 2680 is i still got the German start up problem so i have moved my GPS onto my dashboard and it seem to get a fix alot quicker now, so doesnt stay in Germany for too long now (still need to test it fully yet), i wonder if some antennas are better than others, looks like you better order me the boot camera stuff  :happy2:

SteveP:
For the first time day after parking in an under ground car park mine started in Germany, I didn't notice until it said it was going to take 12 hours with toll roads and ferry's to get 10 miles across London

PM be about the camera if you interested

yeh, i park in a multi storey everyday when at work, and sometimes on old firmware i would get nearly home before it found i was in UK , not tried it on 2680 yet because of snow but im hoping its better as if you do want to use the nav its a ball ache having to pull over 10 mins into the journey to set your route !!

If you are still experiencing the "regensburg syndrome" then you need to either replace your antenna (you can get a decent one on Ebay for about £15) or move it to a better position.

Mine is now positioned on top of the Metal Vents for the Windscreen de-misting Next to the climate control bit on the dash by the screen (bit hard to explain and i don't have a pic to show you but will do as soon as i can. It doesn't look out of place and the only people who ever ask what it is are other Octavia owners. Nobody else bats an eyelid.

I found that even having it under the plastic Dash tray still reduced the signal quite a lot. i used to only get maximum of 7/12 satellites and generally 5/8  i now get at worst 2 less than visible and generally all visible satellites are locked onto.
