Rear washer leak

I think I know why your friend replaced the motor.  The washer jet pushes into a plastic tube that goes through the motor and known to leak.  And guess what?  That plastic tube is only available as part of the entire assembly, soi I may end up doing the same if these bits don't fix it.

Got the same problem, Pudding did you cure the problem and what part had failed ?

Pretty sure it was just the plastic fitting that clips onto the wiper motor, but I ended up replacing that as well because the previous owner fitted a reversing camera, and chopped the motor up to make the camera fit  :stupid:

You can buy the fitting and a length of hose from VW to sort it.

mk1mad:
Nice one thanks  :happy2:

pudding:
I would get a new washer jet insert as well.

mk1mad:
Thanks I'll add that to the list as well.
