MFD2 ipod connectivity

I'd personally go the oem route and get the Ipod armrest dock, would mean unplugging and removing the 6 disc, and replacing it with the ipod dock.

Ill take a pic of mine, if you want?

The dension kit goes in via the CD Changer port so is like an aux in  :happy2:

Like Matt says the VW one is the best phyiscally integrated to the car but is a bit rubbish on the functionality side.

hmmm I have MFD2 & 6CD changer (all oem) - I want the great quality but like you say vw version is not so hot on the functionality side of things.

What is my best option - considering price as well?

also I'm thinking if I replaced my MFD2 with a new all all in one sat nav/dvd malarky and storage space or ipod input it might not be so much more?  :confused:

Yeah that is a very good point, and I think I over look the poor functionality of the VW ipod dock; you have no control over what you listen to, you can set up 6 playlists, but thats it, no track names either.
