Protecting refurbed wheels

I'm getting my standard monzas refurbished next week and wondered what I should put on them to protect the finish?

Avoid surface dressed roads, and don't hit and kurbs!

Ultimately I think it is literally impossible to keeo wheels 100% on a daily.  Mine were perfect when I bought the car 18 months ago,  and now they all have a few stone chips on them.  I think just factoring in a refurn every few years is the best way to look at it!  Those rubber rim protectors look totally naff.

I’ve mine coated in Gtechniq C5 wheel armour, and I’ve no chips on mine and mines on a building site everyday (run around with bbs’s) they have some swirls but that’s about it.

Would the 15m bottle be enough you reckon?

I used some Poorboys wheel sealant, seems to work quite well.

I think they say 15ml for up to 17 or 18 inch alloys and 30 ml 18+ , if you want to keep them clean easier get the small bottle of exo (on sale in Slims detailing .com £24  for a 50ml bottle) and that would get the alloys and your paintwork done.

I agree it does work well too, but think it attracts dirt, just the nature of waxes and sealants.

+1 for qtechniq coated mine 2 years ago when I have them refurbished and still working now, makes them so easy to clean
