After getting rear ended about 10 months ago by boot hasn't been able to open. I have tried replacing the boot latch h and the exterior handle that is used to open the boot but no luck so far. What else could be causing this issue? I have checked the rear electrical harness for broken or frayed wires and everything seems to be fine, all connections are clean, and I'm receiving a signal from the boot latch. The received signal from the boot latch shows if the trunk is open or closed accurately. The safety release inside the car opens the boot. I am completely out of ideas, any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
