Looking for help to source a DSG Gearbox
« on: October 07, 2025, 03:02:28 pm »
Honestly can’t find one anywhere, 55 plate mk5 GTI , been off the road over a month now . Don’t really have the money to recondition this year so a second hand one is needed . Local to Coventry / West Midlands .

Any help is appreciated.

What issue(s) are you seeing with your present gear box?
Without traction power is nothing!

Car is driving for around 10-15 minutes then going into limp mode. R tech have had a look at it & said it needs a whole new box , a family friend’s vw specialist has said it needs a new mechatronics unit aswell. Got the flashing PRNDS when this happens.

Best of luck. Out of interest how many miles has it done? And has it had dsg services on time?
