PRNDS Flashing Issue on my Golf GTI Mk5
Hey everyone, hoping someone might have some advice.
Got in my car earlier and it wouldn’t start at first, but after a few tries it did. When it started, I couldn’t get it into gear at all. I used the manual shift unlock to move it into drive, but the car still wouldn’t move and the PRNDS lights started flashing on the dash.
It’s a 2006 Golf GTI DSG with just over 180,000 miles. Has anyone had this happen before? Do you think it could be the mechatronic unit or something simple like the brake switch?
Any advice or recommendations for decent gearbox or DSG specialists around St Albans England would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone!
