Thought I’d post this in case useful for others. Just installed a Blaupunkt Wolfsberg 648. Designed as a VW direct replacement. Not the cheapest option but the advantage was that it was totally plug and play with everything needed in the box and has quite an OEM look. Works out of the box with all the steering wheel buttons and even sends podcast, radio and Track information to the display in the instrument cluster. I’m using it with Apple CarPlay but it also has android auto.
