Mk5 Golf Gti has no terminal 15 power to fusebox
« on: March 24, 2026, 09:50:31 pm »
Hi. Noob looking for some help please. 2005 Golf gti 2l.
Car was running fine then all of a sudden stopped. No eml on dash Code error Po658. After checking for a while no power to Relays J271 and J757 :) Terminal 15 power i assume. Changed ignition switch and still the same issue, changed j519 relay carrier and still the same issue, checked the relays in j519 all fine. Had the Ecu tested and thats fine. Checked relays J271 and J757 fine, sb fuses are fine with no breaks but no power getting to some of them as well.
I have checked pin 86 on A1(J271) relay and 0v there, did the same with relay A4 (J757) also 0v. I do have constant live to pin 30 on the relays. If i jump pin 30 to 87 the car starts but runs rough.
Has anyone else had this or a similar issue as its got my head done in.

Sorry not sure on this one.

I assume when you plugged VCDS in that all modules were live and talking?

If running rough that could imply a timing issue and it could have jumped a tooth
