Hi all, looking for some advice on rear shocks for my MK5 GTI 2008 (BWA). I need to replace both rear shocks and want to keep the OEM ride feel and quality without paying dealership prices. Any recommendations on brands/models that are closest to factory spec? Cheers.

Look on sites such as Autodoc for Sachs dampers (oe supplier)

As above. I bought these from Autodoc a few months back and no issues. Part number 310950.

Hi both, thanks for the advice on the Sachs rear shocks and for sharing the Autodoc part number, really helpful. Did either of you also use the Febi dust cover and bump stop kit (176504) along with the Febi strut top mounts (23024)? If so, how was the quality and fitment, or would you recommend sticking with Sachs for those parts as well?
