High line cluster part numbers for retrofit.

Looking to fit a high line cluster into my 2005 mk5 golf GTI, 3dr manual (have mid line at the moment), what part number cluster would i need to look out for or does it noy matter as it will be coded in??

All depends on what PN you have fitted now.  There are two generations of immobiliser and the clusters need to match.

The early ones are programmable and the later are very difficult

There is a thread somewhere with all the detail.
