And can someone confirm something for me because i don't know if this is just in my head. These brakes are a lot lighter than the standard brakes. On the way home under heavy turning the steering seemed a little lighter....a bit more responsive. Would the weight saving at the two corners affect this? I think so as lighter wheels are supposed to improve this aspect of the car. Is that right? :rolleye:

....Correctomundo, as the Commander Of Fire alonso confirms.
Each brake assembly is built into the wheel of course and so its weight influences behaviour and feedback to the driver. Change to lighter weight wheels and you'll notice an even bigger difference. I'm saving about 9kg per corner (18kg total) on mine compared with OEM.

Good to hear.
I wanted to go for the same wheels as you, Robin, but i can't justify the price. I want the Michellin Pilot Sport 3s on so given their price i think i may go for the TD Pro Race 1.2s in anthracite. Would like to run them over the winter and save the Pescara's for the summer months.

Thanks Chris. at the minute with the caliper on there is at least a 30mm gap when trying to put on the alloy and the alloy contacts the caliper. and a 30mm spacer is never going to work. The caliper cant be right. What diameter is your disc? mine is 328mm
mackit:
I think it may be 323mm but can't remember now.

i have the same kit as this and need to know where to get replacement pads from ?

Part number & price for these is:
6L6071457 – They are £178.50 inc VAT
I got mine straight from JKM and got my normal dealer to fit them.
