jetta roof bars on golf

hi all some one at work offered me the genuine roof bars off his jetta due to him selling the car,  i had a little dry fit of them the other day but the rear ones just seemed too wide for the golf??? He offered the bars and cycle carrier for £100

Does any one know if its a totally different kit for the golf?

Not sure depends on the make VW or aftermarket!

I have thule bars and cycle carriers, check out their website it's informative and gives length of bars if my memory serves me right.

Did you get a conclusion on this, as I have a set of Jetta bars but not sure if they fit??

Yes Mark the Jetta ones deffo don't fit the front is fine but the back one is way out?? I guess the Jetta is much more of a fat boy than the Golf :grin:
