Wheel Weight Marks

Not disagreeing with you Jay. For sure, clay+foam isn't a great idea but personally didn't have much if any foam to deal with. hence PW + bilberry 4:1 + clay sorted my rims out. Obviously what's required depends entirely on what's present.

Now Jay, what's the best way of getting gloss black paint marks off my wheels without damaging the finish?

JPC:
Paint?! how did that happen?

If it just light overspray, you might be lucky and it hasnt bonded too strong.

If so, get some megs aggressive clay, then it will need a polish.

If its a fairly big dollop, good luck!  :signLOL:

stealthwolf:
No. Muggins here tried painting the hubs and didn't leave it to dry long enough before putting the rims back on.

I'm not too fussed since they'll be refurbed in the distant future.

stuupnorth:
I used 'tardis' to remove the marks from the 'glue'
Stu

andrewparker:
Tardis it is then - can you get it from Halfords or am I best ordering some online?
