Your pond Robin?  :happy2:

....Yes, my pond. I created it last June and suddenly spotted a couple of newts about a month ago. They're the rarer Palmate Newt. Wildlife ponds (no fish) are very addictive!

It's not very big but that means it's much easier to maintain. I've built a rockery around it planted solely with Alpine plants so there's minimum maintenance. Are you into ponds too?

I do like ponds robin and i really like the natural look of yours. We live in a flat so its not conducive to pond life!

....Thanks  :drinking: My whole garden looks very 'natural' with trees and long grass but it is 'maintained' so nothing gets totally out of control - It's just very wildlife friendly rather than preciously manicured - A bit like my hair!

Here's a snap I took this morning just as a record of the pond's current state. Each of the rocks has been individually *cough* acquired or rescued *cough* (but never from anyone's private garden) :

The green tray is for birds to drink and bathe. Used for bathing nearly every day by a Blackbird. The reward I get is hearing that Blackbird sing (she's called Beyonce.... I wish!).

The underwater Star Dome is THE nightspot for trendy newts in this neck of the woods.

It is possible to get all sorts of pond life in flats I guess it just depends on the area.

They are very good. I presume that tram photo is Photoshop?
