Put 56.100015,-4.56372 into google maps and thats exactly where it was taken from  :wink:

The photos are just  :drool: i'd put Loch Lomond up there alongside St Lucia, Turkey, America or anywhere in the world. Photographers heaven!

Would have PM'd you but I haven't earned my rights yet because funnily enough, my mum is from South Shields! She worked as a life guard in the hut you took a snap of further back in this thread. Its a small world... When you have a few years to go back  :signLOL:

I'm going to be brutally frank and say I'm not loving those Loch Lomond pics - They just look a bit too much Photoshop'd for my taste. But please tell me I'm wrong and the scenes really do look like that and I will revise what is only my personal opinion.

Tut tut, Robin. You think I would photoshop a pic to look like that and post it in here  :surprised:

As R444WRR said, I used a 25 second shutter (the shutter stayed open for 25s) for both pics  :happy2:

That first crane in the sunset shot is very nice but shots like that have been seen so many times before. BUT....
