Ok... so within the space of a few months!

Brakes start to make cracking noise... sounds crap... its not right... they shouldnt make that noise!  

Rear ARB drop links... sound like shi*te... every speed  bump make me sick to the core!  

Went out to wash my car and i've notice that the Powder Coat on the calipers is cracking, they've only been on 4 friking months! Didnt even bother washing it... cant be arsed!  



Really not good. Im thinking of getting the 312mm put back on because I had ZERO problems with them!  
 

Sorry to read mate, but i follow you, my gearcable went, then the throttlebody and now my intake manifold runner. At the same time my KW V3 messes up and won't let me adjust ride height, so i know where you comming from

....Are you sure it's the drop links and not the ARB bushes? Could be a simple matter of greasing.

Very sligh keano  

They might be problems but they can be rectified fairly cheap and as much as they annoy it gives you a reason to pay some loveing attention to your car   and I think everyone knows how happy they are when they fix a problem or add a new part and get that warm fussy feeling

The ARB bushes have been greased to death Robin (I can see they have from underneath) Must be the links not liking the extra load from the Autotech ARB.

You can buy uprated links Neuspeed or similar methinks.

You shouldn't have any issues with the Autotech ARB's unless you have the weaker brackets, in which case they maybe cracking or have cracked. The noise mine made seem to be similar to what you are describing. I went through 2 sets of brackets with Autotech before they increased the strength of them and then I had no issues whatsoever with them.

Just checked the ARB bush mounting and they are intact from what i can see.

Sorry to hear about the brakes and roll bars mate. I know how frustrating things like this cane be. I am about to fit VWR brakes as I find the stock rather lacking, hopefully you will be able to sort the R32 brakes.

Mine is making the same sound but from the front, Rich...

I've checked over all the bushed on the front end and cant find where its coming from. There's a very small movement on the front ARB bush but I dont think its enough to make the sound I'm getting

^^ Wierd. Dont think there should be any movement on the bushes!

Took Mad_GTi in it tonight and he thought it was bad too.. so not just me!

Yup it was my fronts what went. The rears have been known to go too. Both are now thicker steel braces. Yours look like the thicker ones

Well... i bought some BSH drop links with ball joints so if it still creaks after fitting those i'm gonna push it into the thames!
