I had a little fun with a Nissan 350z today. I had 4 people in the car and he was just nosing ahead. Not bad for a measly 2.0 with a hairdryer stuck on it.

.:Tapatalk:.
get them on a diet.... A 370z couldn't catch me up my drive the other week :signLOL:

Perhaps the Nissans both had problems........................

..... Perhaps it's Steve's super duper Bluefin map...    :pomppomp:

don't do it Rich

Do it, Rich  :signLOL:

x2  :happy2:

Yes it's nice to have a remap that works  :P

The ham fisted knob head who changed my oil has snapped the engine cover... and then tried to let me leave without telling me.

Good job i looked under the bonnet to check it all.  :fighting: :fighting: :fighting: :fighting: :fighting:

I point blank demanded a new engine cover, so one has been ordered. I cannot believe it... utter RAGE at the mechanic who when i confronted him about it, just didn't seem to give 2 poo poos that he had snapped it "yeah, its really hard to get off"  :fighting: :fighting: :fighting: :fighting: RAGE!

Rich

hmm, maybe my suggestion of National tyres doing the oil change for you wasnt THAT bad Rich.. im glad you got it sorted though! :happy2:

just out of interest, what oil did VW they supply you with - was it the quantum stuff?

Very possibly Rich....   :booty:

Quantum Platinum.... supposedly not brilliant oil, but for 23quid for 5L its a bargin. My car will need servicing in about 2500miles time so ill get it replaced with some better oil then  :happy2:

A good friend of mine has a 350z. I was able to pull on him a fair bit from about 20 to 70 on Thursday.

I imagine it will be your heavy ass passengers Rich.

I think so too mate... there was very little in it and he didn't look very impressed  :signLOL:

My mates 350z would nose ahead. Well it does have a couple of turbos and 500 ponies.

Haha... yeah that might just have the legs on a 2.0T

Over and out.

BDM is in Milton Keynes. The roundabouts are great fun. Until you get lost!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Do these cars go over 70??

7 am is early for me, ive got to do harrow to Milton Keynes to harrow to Brighton.... Tomorrow is gonna hurt, both the mind an the wallet.

I'm gonna need 4 new tyres soon too... The fronts have taken an absolute battering since the remap. :-)

Now do I go Goodyear F1 v1, or F1 v2??

All done. Cambelt, pump and aux belt. The old belt was I'm pretty good nick but the consequence of it breaking obviously isn't good.

Alex says my oil smells fine, so that's saves me the cost of a fuel pump and fitting :-)

Ta alex. (sorry for giving you a boring job on a Friday morning)

....Both GY F1 v1 and v2 are very good (asymmetrics) but v2 likely to be better as technology never stands still.

[I need to think of a price for my Monza's - I haven't forgotten you but am mindful of the damage to your wallet today]
