Had mine 5 years now and still think about selling up but i just struggle to find a car that does what mine does without having to spend another 10 to 20k or cost mad money on fuel

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

I've had mine 2years and a month this week and I remember when buying it I said I was keeping it for 3years or until it hit 70k and I'll get rid and get something else. It's now on 70k and I have no intentions of getting rid of it, well not through choice but that's a different story for the new year. I have never driven or owned another car that ticks so many boxes

I know mine isn't a GTI, but feel exactly the same about the S3, bought it new over 4 years ago, have gradually modded it into a geat fast road car and quite capable track car that still ticks all the boxes. Regularly think about changing it as its a second car now, but without spending £KKKK's I don't see anything that suits my needs  :happy2:

so keep your car pal and enjoy it

Yep...   :happy2:

So if the fueling it spot on... then that does puzzle me why the tail pipes get black so quickly.  :stupid:

I thought Revo maps were quite heavy on the fuelling at the top end (why you see loads of black smoke on Dyno days)?

Could be a bit of oil getting burned?

Is that not fueling at idle...

The 2.0TFSi does like to run rich, and it is safer to do so... But I knocked my fueling from F7 to F8 and the soot deposits, greatly reduced...(but if you're on F9 for your  and also i find on the odd occasion i'm forced to use tesco momentum, I get more deposits round the tail pipes... I try to 100% run V-Power....
