They are built to be driven!

I have a feeling that next year it could do with a full set of bushes... its feeling a bit loose in places.

Exactly, and I can't help thinking a car that's driven daily, and is pampered as much as ours are, are healthier examples... I'm also thinking poly bushes, new droplinks, top mounts, ball joints next year...

....I didn't experience any additional NVH after fitting SuperPro bushes and I haven't heard any reports of others doing so. I drove someone's Ed30 a couple of months ago who had just had SuperPro's fitted and no NVH there either.

The OEM bushes are rubber and will deteriorate much faster than polyurethane. Also, the labour costs are the same whichever bushes are newly fitted. Plus OEM bushes can be a PITA to remove because of corrosion etc. Either way you would also need to have your car aligned.

I don't know the cost difference between a full set of new OEM bushes and a full set of SuperPro or Powerflex bushes but that would be the only extra cost. vRSAlex could probably give you a good price.

How many miles has yours done now, Rich?

^^^^
Your car shouldn't really need new bushes at 60,500 miles - It's more something you might expect to replace after at least 120,000 miles. But I think that the OEM bush mounts might be potentially more prone to breakage. You can see their durability limitations just by looking at them:

^ These are some which vRSAlex removed.

Although I think they were a great mod for my car I don't think you need them unless they actually need replacing.

Not really that much worse at all on mine Rich. The most vibration comes from the solid rubber THS engine mounts, not the poly bushes. :happy2:
