You might find it goes a little lower when it settles down in a week or so

They are 2nd hand so shouldn't really change that much as they are already "stressed"

Was the Rack genuine mate? How much was it if you don't mind me asking?

Mines starting to make some knocks and stuff when turning at low speed, well I think it's that anyway!

 :congrats:

Proper commitment Rich, I like!

Will be interested to hear your findings on the Bilstein's, I like the idea of their B12 kit retaining the strut/spring arrangement however the B14 which is your kit? I believe? Is not much more expensive to buy new.

Cheers Simon

Edit: Ignore my above comment, Yours are the more expensive B16's! Ker-ching.

Car feels fantastic. Just gonna run it into London tonight to check how the PSS10 behave, which should be a good test as I know the route and the roads are sh*te!  :signLOL:

Come to Bucharest and you'll never complain about British roads again.  :signLOL:
Cant wait for a review on your PSS10s. What settings do you use?

Ran the car into London last night.

Verdict is that I am happy with them, which is a relief.

They are currently set about 360mm from floor to arch front and rear (I think). and dampers set F5 R4.

Is the ride more firm? Yes

Is it more harsh? No, much less harsh than on the old damper + H&R combo (pretty sure its all down to the shot dampers) There was one road that was a bit of a bone shaker but its a shocking road.

Less bouncy? Yes for sure, it feels like it follows the road surface better, but less bounce.

Better straight line grip? Maybe a placebo but yes on first impression, seems to not make sure a fuss about accelerating when on full throttle in gears 1 and 2.

Better cornering grip? Yes I would say so. It feels much more stable mid corner. Before it seemed to do this annoying front-back see-sawing thing which didn't inspire much confidence.

Worth £1400? Debatable. I wouldn't have bought these new at that price. I was going to do down the Bilstein B8 damper route which would have been about £550-£575 (with my H&R springs) until these came up on here.

I am going to get used to them as they are before I start messing with the damping to see if I can "Dial it in" as the race car owners would say.  :signLOL:

More feedback to come.

I wish there was a version of the Bilsteins that worked with DCC... Only KW offer a kit that utilises the OE feature. :sad1:

Moving over to Flickr, sorry for the broken picture links!

I had shot OEM dampers with Eibach Sportlines and the ride was too crashy and bouncy. It only improved a bit at motorway speed.

Great upgrade! :congrats:
