not many diesel drivers on here, but i know of alot of diesel drivers on briskoda in the octaviaII section, with remapped 140s and 170 TDIs
have a look on briskoda mate, no doubt the clutch on yours will be different to the rest of the petrol range, as the diesels run more torque anyway
We have found that the clutch will begin to slip at around 335-340 ft/lb.Just remember that clutch ratings and their limits arent just about the amount of torque, its about the amount of torque thats produced at a given RPM. If you hit peak torque of 300 ft/lb at 1800rpm its far more likely to kill a clutch than 350ft/lb at 3500 rpm. A well developed map will take this into account.
My Diesel PD140 is mapped and has 290ish lb/ft.It's been fine the past 3k miles
