Missfire is back!

<< < (3/8) > >>

ennvee:
If that works then thats great!  Beats paying £125 for one.

My worry with mine is the fact that the warranty is only replacing the one that is faulty so i'm either waiting for another to go or take the plunge and replace / clean the rest.

Might need to see if there is anyone in Aberdeen who does that.

bobsey:
At what rpm dose the misfire occur and dose it do it through out the rpm band?

Poppa Dom:
Have you tried moving the cylinder 1 coil pack on to another cylinder, put some mileage on the car and re-scan with VCDS to see if the misfire has moved cylinder. If it has it would suggest a failing coilpack - if it stays on cylinder 1 then clearly another issue, most likely injector.

jimmy-s3:
Yep, tried that DOMT!

It MUST be the injector?

Poppa Dom:
Hmmm, nothing is ever for certain, looking likely. Perhaps PDT/BDMAlex may want to put some additional info here as traders.
