Any views of REvo stage 2
« on: March 01, 2011, 01:32:38 pm »
Thinking of full Miltek, Forge DV and air filter. Not looking to replace the air intake (inlet noise, engine cover damafe)

Anyone done something similar and any idea of power and driveability  :happy2:

290-300bhp on dyno dynamics normally on average.  :innocent:

Stage 1 normally around 275-290bhp

Guys, has anyone have experience on REVO stage 2 without an intake?  I have stage 1 and a TBE and wanted to know if it's possible / worthwhile?

I am running Revo stage 2 map, with just Milltek TBE and K&N panel filter, standard intake.

Seems to run ok, obviously the difference going from stage 1 to 2 is nothing like going from stock to stage 1.

I just thought I'd go stage 2 to maximise the potential of the exhaust (and got the map for free in the end!), was gonna get an ITG intake but didn't bother.

Best thing is my mpg has gone up!  :pomppomp:

.
I'm also running Revo2 and have been doing so for some time. As Mandy says, the Stage 1 to 2 difference isn't so dramatic. You'll need a high-flow exhaust and air intake to get the best out of the remap. If you go to Revo2+ you'll need to do other mods like the HPFP.

I think Revo stage 2 is excellent, I will not go any further. It runs very crisp and sweet on the Pirelli, miles better than the stage 1 map I had before (Motech).

I average 27-28mpg long term , I was 26 before. I run B,T,F 6,5,9

Carrera2RS - are you running an intake as well?  or just a panel filter?
