Cheers! I know you're a stickler for the ole high mileage GTIs  - would you say £7k for a 120,000 mile edition 30 in red with FVWSH and 1 owner from new is a bad price? I'm going to take a look at it later, but the 120,000 miles is putting me off.;.

Would hope to get it down to £6.7k or so.

Ouch!
I know mileage is just a number and is dependant on how well the car has been serviced but for me £7k is a bit steep given the mileage. I would expect Xenons and heated seats for that sort of money. But that's just me!

For sure! I have a set of OEM xenons on mine that I'd take off before selling and put on any new car, so that's not a bother. Pretty sure heated seats are there though (and standard on all Eddies)!

What would be the maximum you'd paid for it based on spec alone? No engine mods or anything and not repaired according to dealer...

A friend of mine recently bought a black 3dr 2008 DSG ED30 without xenons or sunroof with 87k miles for £8200. I though that was fair price. I'd say about 6-6.5k for that one. ED30's are holding their value well currently.
