LED side lights and removed rear near side door panel ready for fitting door lights tomorrow. Fitted soundproofing to the door as it had none and sounded like a tin can.

Thanks to Beattie(Craig) on here for posting this dash air vent to Ireland for me! Got it fitted straight away!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does changing the vent to a tray not affect the sensor at the front? I'm sure I read it somewhere that's a all? I'm about to tackle the 'creaky vent' so was hoping to change to a tray

I changed the tray to a vent

Great to see it fitted. Glad your happy with the change. Big difference from the vent below that instead of the panel tray. Enjoy!

Simple little change today inbetween rain showers and blazing sunshine!
New footrest from ebay arrived so I thought it would be cheeky not to get it installed

Bits removed from the motor

Drilled a couple of holes through the plastic to attach the new bling

And back in the motor

It was a great fit and simple to do!
Its the small things that make me happy!  :happy2:

Looks ace! I've got mine waiting to go on. How easy is it to take out the foot rest?

So much for keeping it standard!

Took less than two mins - just two little plastic screws to remove and it slides up and out

Gave it a wash again. Really does look well when it's clean

Removed my stone chipped wrapped front grill, took off the gloss black wrap to wrap it in silver with some left over wrap. It wasn't 3M wrap and didn't go on very well on a large surface so pulled it all off and re-wrapped in gloss black.

On our way back from a fun week and a half eurotripping/skiing/snowbombing! Been epic. Frankfurt and Amsterdam to go...then home :sad1:

Spent a few hours at Nurburgring..not long enough!

Enroute to Austria had some epic backdrops

Filling up we found a mint RS6 that wanted a play!

We were really lucky with our apartment as they can be pot luck with Snowbombing

Found a long tunnel just outside Mayrhofen.... :innocent:

Some excellent snow with a "we will create a slope to the bottom moment". Wonder how much compacting allowed this to happen!

Some epic roads on the way back....

Your journey looks great! Once I get my new Golf me and the other half were thinking a of weeks trip to Europe somewhere as a get away. Is that a camera on your front end? Where did you get it as that's something I'd like for going as well.

Looks great  :happy2:, I've been thinking of doing this, so is it the same one with just the upper part painted? I would like to do the side skirts as well hopefully.

Definately something I want to do again. Has been fantastic and a break from long car journeys when younger with the parents to far flung parts of Europe!!

The camera is a gopro...I got it off eBay!
