Upgrading suspension

Thinking of upgrading my suspension to improve the handling mainly for fast road driving. What aftermarket suspension set ups have you got, what made you choose that over the others and what are the pros and cons of your set up?

I'm doing a presentation on car modification and have obtained lots of useful information from this site but just lacking in the suspension and exhaust upgrade areas.

If it helps, I wrote a Review on my suspension on this forum - Linky : - VWRacing-KW-V3 Suspension Review

Suspension mods are inevitably a compromise between 'comfort' and handling. Also, some people do it just for the look of a lowered car and with little understanding of it.

Personally I much prefer the tactile feel of a well-setup car and its handling limits being put further away from my driver limitations.

Brakes are also an important component.

Cheers Red, most helpful. After doing a little research i'm gonna get the car handling how i want it before i go for any power mods

Very good.  That will save lots of money with no subframe to drop.  :happy2:
