has anyone used these ? i was thinking of getting one of these instead of a remap so it doesnt effect the warranty and insurance

You would still need to tell your insurance as it is a mod. I had one on my astra and didn't make any difference. You'd be better off with a remap that awesome gti are offering for £150

+1

still need to inform insurance

ukshaun:
yh but the insurance dont need to know as it can always come off.

i seen awesome had that offer on but id still be better off going to r tech as its £200 but wouldnt cost me much on fuel

This really grips my s***.  If you can pay for the mods you can pay for the insurance, if not dont bother.

What happens when you crash into someone, the car gets recovered as its a right off.  Next thing you know, is after you car gets recovered, your insurance company inspect the car, see ts modified, refuse to pay out on insurance

What does that mean, well the poor unsuspecting innocent person that you have hit, loses his no claims despite the fact he has done nothing wrong.

My insurance went up a whole £50 for a remap....

Rant over
