Ridiculous as it may seem, this seems to be the most informative Highline retrofit thread I can find.

Would Darren (or anyone) be able to pop round and swap the 2005 Highline in my current GTI to the 2007 ED30 I am likely to be buying in the next few days? I doubt your average Autotrader buyer will care on such a cheap car anyway.

Failing that, how much is a highline display which will be compatible with the 2007 ED30 likely to be?

Does this whole swapover cause the mileage reading to show as 'tampered' with or anything like that?

Cheers
Matt

Matt the equipment I have cannot swap an older dash cluster into anything above 2006 06 plate. Ben @ Shark performance or HazzyDayz is your best bet for any thing above an 06 plate.

Only if its a cluster that is before September 2006, before it would have gone to a 56 plate...(should have end number before 972?

You can still get older clusters from the dealers they just have new stickers over the old ones.
