on & off now and then.

keep it in the car at all times if need to revert to standard.

Guess if I have a "Big one" and unable to convert back I probably wont be coming back either!

All my miles are local & very few of them.

Would convert back to standard if did a europe holiday etc. :evilgrin:

My insurance is due for renewal in May, so I'll be on the lookout soon. £585 last year with Adrian Flux with all mods declared and like for like replacement, with only £150 excess. I'll be looking to get near that again if possible. I didn't try Greenlight last year but will be giving them a bell in the near future. :smiley:

Greenlight and Adrian Flux are sister companies so its hard to play 1 against the other :wink:

Switched to Greenlight yesterday.

I'm 45, live in Southampton with car on the driveway overnight and have max NCD.

With Bluefin and ITG filter declared their premium for my Ed30 is £497 with £200 XS.

Dealing with them so far has been very good.

Norwich Union (Arriva...wots all that sh*te about) &  two mods...

......Edition 30 badge on front grill & 'Ko4 inside' graphic in rear window.....hehehehehehe...... :jumpmove:

They didn't want to up the premium for these......which is nice

just got quoted 598 for the year BUT with 350 excess (and £30 optional breakdown cover)
just gotta get a price for adding GF onto it!
direct line said 1100 for next year¬! looks like i,ll be changing lol

I've ended up paying £530. Original renewal was for £602. 3 phone calls later and wiped £70 off the total and £50 off the excess which is now £200. All modifications declared (took me nearly 15 minutes to list them all!), including two which are being done shortly :evilgrin:

Some of you guys are paying a lot - I'm with direct line - but having said that I do live in rural deepest darkest wales !!!

My insurance is due up towards the end of the month and I have just got my renewal quote through from the company I insured my Impreza with last year (changed in July).  £799!!! for a standard GTI....I think my jaw hit the floor!  And the cheeky sh*ts put down that I had made a claim in January, when the bus hit my car.  I never told my insurance company because I claimed of the bus company but the company I used checked to make sure I was insured.  What a bunch of ****s!

Been to compare.com for a laugh and got £657 for a modified car and £525 from Adrian Flux.  Just waiting on Greenlight now, hoping for a good quote.

You guys...... I cant even get insurance on a 1.8T Avant  :sad:

I would hate to imagine having to tell them I wanted to remap it, drop it and change rims etc haha

Hey,

Me being 18  ( turned 18 this year on April 24th )   haven't even got 1 years driving experiecne so no claims.

I'm forking out £2000 a year with £2500 excess.  :sad:

That price im paying for my Golf GT TSi 170 ps with mods etc....


Only been able to do it through my dads company fleet.
