....Hmm, I'm thinking aloud....How can I help? If you are serious and your 'painted' ones are professionally done so the paint actually stays on the trim!

Would a future buyer of my car want to remove the carbon wrap? I doubt it actually - The car ain't going back to standard - Would you take all your child's toys away from them? - Nooooo!

Shame yours is 3-door and mine a 5-door, Jay, otherwise you could have paid me £1,000 and we could have done a straight swop.

And the best thing for those trim strips, you can get those out with some decent pry tool. i.e Bojo Pry tools

£30 or so, but they are invaluable to me. you really cant be without these if you want to do "safe" interior work.
