Brake pad warning!! why!!

If they don't (and most non OEM pad don't have this) then that would be why.

Think to get round this some tuners offer a dummy wire set up to fool the sensor so that you don't get a light on dashboard.

Agree with the above.  Usually have to put a shorting link in to fool the wear sensing circuit into thinking it has brake pads with wear sensors fitted.

given that its just come on , suspect something has moved and shorted the sensor wire to ground.(as if pads had worn down)
Get the wheels off and check  :happy2:

The sensors were working fine until yesterday. I've had both the front wheels off to get a better look, but cannot see anything snapped or broken. All I can think of is that either the wiring has a break in it or the sensor has gone tits up!

wouldnt say its a common fault, but you do get it happen...

Easily broken in-line or the connecter has got too hot, melted and shorted.

Just disable the wear indicator in vadgecom.  :happy2:
