Lovely Weather? = clean the car
« on: May 24, 2009, 09:55:13 pm »
Weather was lovely today, full blue sky. Thought, lets clean the car.

So, i gave it a good wash, leather, wheels and wheel polish.

Took a good me a good hour !  8)

Does anyone know what stuff i can use on the exhaust to get the rust and blackness off it ?  I know there is some autoglym that does that job but whats the name of it ? I'd like to order some asap ? Do you scrub it with a wiremesh ?

Help on this would be appreciated :happy2:

Hope you like her  :drinking:

Rich your car is looking the shizzle  :jumpmove:

But you should have added this post to your ride thread or posted it up in the detailing section.

Just trying to help. as over the months you can look back on your ride thread and its nice to see what you have done to your car.  :happy2:

Autosol will do the trick on the exhaust, I just used a scouring pad and it brought it up perfect, wirewool maybe if its real bad.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Autosol-Solvol-metal-polish-for-cars-bikes-ali-etc_W0QQitemZ260413665190QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item3ca1dd2fa6&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1689|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A2|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A24

Same as Autoglym but comes in a bigger tube and cheaper.
