Hi Tim,  personally I didn't ring your line due to the minimum premium being specifically mentioned, with my current insurer coming in under 200 for an un-modified car I wasn't expecting to go hugely higher for cover on it as modified with re-map etc. By setting out the lowest possible premium at the outset it tends to make me think the actual quote will be higher, therefore I went down the standard broker route and am happily covered for the next year.

- I thought I'd give this company a try and I'm very pleased I rang them for a quote! The premium and cover is cheaper and better than all the other quotes I've had! Don't just ignore because it's on a Facebook group, I did just that and wish I changed earlier. Samuel Pople.
- Just spoke to Dan at prestige, he was really helpful. Gave me a quote that was over £400 cheaper than the best one I had. Local rate number and quick to answer the phone, with prices that good it's worth all of you making a call! ‘Citroensaab’, SaabConversions forum

- Okay, So I got caught speeding last year and picked up 3 points, I then put my car in a ditch in January with enough damage to have to claim through my insurance. So my insurance policy was going to increase. I was insured with (AAA) last year for £511. This year they wanted £1,450. These are the quotes I got... (BBB) = £2,776, (CCC) = £1,400,  (DDD) =£1,400. The other quotes were ridiculous as i have 0 years no claims now. Prestige came in the best as i am paying monthly and have £100 excess with them due to one of there excess protect policys £1,334...consider Prestige when you get your renewal. I dealt with a gentleman called Shorif who was very polite and helpful. ‘Chillismoke’, GT86.org

- I was truly amazed that an insurance company and broker actually cared about keeping their customer. Not only that, but negotiated...to include my standard Alfa into a policy which was specifically geared to modified cars.
