Spark plugs and fuel filter
« on: July 14, 2012, 07:40:40 pm »
Just thinking about changing mine over and seem to recall there was a set of spark plugs everyone posted about while back that were cheap and good quality? Cannot for the life of me find the thread though. I know this is vague so apologies but hope someone can help!

Also, as a side note.. I'm going to swap the fuel filter but would I be best off buying it directly from VW or could I use someone like GSF for a copy part?

!
This was the one, Thanks :happy2: And thanks to everyone else for the quick replies, jeez you lot are fast

The only reason I'd get the filter from GSF is because I can get trade price. Not a massive saving but a saving. Just wondered if anyone knew about any quality issues?

part number for fuel filter is:-
1K0201051C

Latest one from VAG is 1K0201051K
I think this is fairly 'hot off the presses'. Has a 6.6 bar pressure regulator, the older has 6.4 bar.

back to VW then for the K one.

I don't think you should waste your time! 0.2 bar isn't much - the C has worked fine - never heard of any failures/recalls.
