Members map
« on: May 30, 2009, 02:44:57 pm »

Just an idea!  Could we possibly have a map with a pin for every members location?  :confused:I suppose though with the amount of members there is now it would be a bit of a task! :ashamed:

It would be nice to know if there is any members in your area. I feel kina alone up here! :chicken:

How precise would this be? I don't fancy advertising where my car is parked overnight  :scared:

I live in a very safe and secure area where crime is low.... even then I wouldn't want to advertise information on the web like that.  Nice idea, but its a nasty world out there  :rolleye:

Good idea! but then agree about advertising where we all live to strangers!
How about just by county rather than the town name!!...???

I had thought about the security aspect of the idea. There is some expensive machinery out there.

Cheers for the input guys. :happy2: Think this one is a non-starter tho :ashamed:

I think if it was a small map with big blobs, that might be okay.

Like this:

Cheers John-o!

Stealth, I think something like that would work. A map thats not too precise, just the general area!

....

Hopefully if the forum does do a map, no matter how vague or general, I wouldn't have to be shown on it at all.

Agreed - it would have to be an opt in map. I am sure many people on here wouldn't want details put on.

Any particular reason?

That little blob on my map is meant to be you, in cornwall/devon (coz I'm not sure where you're from) so I figured you like Cornish pasties.
