Nope they wont be legal but the beam pattern is fine.

you can change the beam pattern from LHD to RHD quite easily IIRC too.

The flick up changes from left (rhd) to the right (LHD)

Right, rather than open a new thread, I thought I would add to this.  I have a donor car, that I can have the xenons off.  However I will have to convert this back to normal lights.  SO I have to swap both ways.  I will source a standard set of lights(ie not GTI) for the donar car.  I know I need leads from kuftec, but how easy is it to take the levellers etc, is all the wiring there already?  And how easy to convert the GT back to standard lights?

ANy help much appreciated, and I just want to know if its worth the bother!

Oli it would be far easier to take the levelling sensors and control box off and buy the loom from Kufatec,

For the simple reason the wiring will be very hard to trace back from the sensors and control box you could also take the washers off aswell and again buy the loom which is 40 euro's from kufatec.

If you do it get an how 2 up for the rest of the forum,  although there is some excellent write ups on the net for all this.

If you have a doner car, can't you use the same Xenon leads? Why do you need the Kuftec ones?

Or... Can the leads be purchased from VAG perhaps?

there arent any "leads" on a car fitted with xenons from the factory.

There is a 12 pin plug for the xenons connected to a massive loom that would just be a nightmare to take out.

On a halogen car, there is a 10pin plug. The plug is a different shape.

you NEED to get the Kufatec Looms, or you can make your own, but it would a lot easier to buy the kufatec looms

The hardest part would be to get the Xenon Car to Halogen.

Hope this helps
