« on: September 19, 2012, 05:01:02 pm »
Hi guys I have a 2.0 gt gti, just wondering what coilovers to buy, budget it to about £600, really looking for a comfortable ride and low look.

....Is that a GT or a GTI?

I don't know if the same coilovers will fit both GT and GTI. But if you only want a comfy ride and a low look, why not go for cheaper than coilover lowering springs with appropriate shocks? Better than buying cheap coilovers which may not be as good as Bilstein and KW.

My car is a gt tdi 2.0 I will be fitting mercedes 18 inch segins , I would rather go down the coilover route so the car sits as its suposed to , seen too many cars fitted with big wheels and the ride height looks silly
