Im going to see the Stone Roses on the 7th of June and plan on staying the Saturday night too.

So the question is where is there to go around Finsbury park area? We could get a taxi within a reasonable distance if needed.

I'm flying down from Aberdeen for this and have decided to just stay in central. Was looking around Finsbury but as me and the wife are making a weekend of it, we've opted against Finsbury.

Just accepting it will likely be a nightmare to get back to the hotel that night, but can't be worse than Heaton Park!!

It's kind of our old haunt as the wife had a flat in Holloway, just behind the tube station there and I had one in Clapham.

We are there on the 7th as well.

Yes Heaton was a nightmare.

Ended up walking into Manchester which is around 5 miles and then had to pay £40 to do a 7 mile taxi journey. Got within spitting distance of the VIP bar before being rumbled by security  :signLOL:

We are looking at a hotel 2 miles from Finsbury, more than likely stay local after the gig and go further a field on Saturday. I just dont know much about London or where to head to.
