Mine were like the 'before' pic further up the page - I thought I would be buying new ones , but I had wire wool and Autosol lying around so I gave it a go - they are now looking nearly new again!

Wire wool and autosol will get you far.

If you want to add a real shine look on ebay for a polishing kit. You can get bits you put on the end of a drill. Combine them with a bit of autosol and it will result in a mirror finish.
