First was 4.3 secs in sport mode on a bit of a loose road, then headed to better tarmac and put in manual and got 3.8.  :happy2:

Yup was on launch control, it would be a few seconds slower without it on a DSG!

Yeah I had GIAC Stage 2 DSG remap done which has increased the launch rev limit, as well as lifted the torque by 40ft/lb, made a big difference. I've only done two runs with the VBOX as I've only just got it.

3.8 is very good. Shows how strong the stage 2+R's really are.

3.8 to 60 is the same as........

Pagani Zonda Roadster
Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
Merc SLR McLaren
Koenigsegg CCR

So you are in good company Chris.  :happy2:

Golf R gone.

Yes, although the weight of that new Intercooler may slow me down a tad!

Can launch control be mapped into dsg? I.e. an eddy? Also is it possible to achieve anti lag?

You missed 'leave 2mm of tyre tread on road' at the end... :rolleye:

Yep you certainly will on a GTI, that's the main factor in the great times using launch control in a Golf R, with 4 wheel drive there is ZERO wheel spin on a good dry surface, it's just literally off like a rocket with no drama whatsoever, mental!
