MFSW Buttons

Right my Edition30 has midline dash, and non mfsw.

While browsing ebay i come across these...

says there genuine vw but location is suspect, has anyone tried them?

My car is DSG so i should be able to just fit these? i believe im correct?

Says they only for a mfsw so guessing they are replacements rather than parts to upgrade a steering wheel.

If you have the module already on your steering wheel, these should be plug and play. Replacement and upgrade if you have dsg is the same

Not clear what you mean? I have a GT with dsg and couldn't get buttons added, had to be the whole mfsw wheel.....or have I been had? If so let me know, I will buy some of those buttons and flog the old wheel as a mfsw, which I guess it the would be.

A DSG wheel has the cavity to take buttons, a non MFSW doesn't have the space to take buttons as a retrofit.

You've been had i reckon. You unscrew the blanks, put the buttons in place and plug them in

Most mf buttons come with a little module which fits in the centre of the wheel, under the airbag. I dont know if a dsg wheel has this module already sat there waiting for the buttons to be plugged in. I have a manual so needed a new wheel etc

Hmm, I didn't have paddles or highline, nothing in the wheel so perhaps not. Seems now to have been an expensive way to do it, didn't know all you need for a mfsw was a module and buttons...pfffff dammit!

Edit, ah just saw the post about the cavity. That explains it, I never had paddles either.
