Wheel tyre and drop help please

Hi am looking for some 18s for my gt tdi found some h&r springs that say will drop 45 to 50 mm would this set up fill my arch for a fat look and would th wheels be better at 8.5 wide or would they rub with no strech don't really want to spend loads on coilovers
Any advice please

If you're going 50mm static I'd get a little bit of stretch. Should be fine though. They'll definitely fill your archers and delete your arch gap.

All depends what look you're going for? Id personally go 8.5 but that's my opinion. Just to maximise clearance run some stretch.

What et are the wheels?

been looking at 42 and 45 not much init i supose but not up on all the specs  want it to look lowish and fat with full arches

8:5 with a 45et will be fine as long as the car
