Heated seats
SeanyK:
2007 Seats... Dilemma, which adaptor lol!
apollo13:
Sean,
'adjustment' is for electric adjustment of the seat in the forward and backward motion and rake of the backrest
'lordose' is the electric lumbar support
'memory' is obviously for the memory seat function
You, like me probably just have heating + electric lumbar (lordose)
I was told you need the loom that matches the age of your seats not the car, worked for me so up to you what you do there mate.
Call me if you need to know anything else.
SeanyK:
Seat Heating - Harness - VW Golf 5
year of construction?: - 2007 Aircondition ?: - Climatronic Variations: - lordose 68,- eur 1 x Sub-Total: 68,- eur
DHL Europacket / DHL Express (Shipping to: GB : 3 lb(s)): 14,28 eur
incl. UST 19%: 13,14 eur
Total: 82,28 eur
Thanks mate, all ordered!
I will probably fit the seats first, and leave the wires dangling as I am clueless if it involves soldering or adding ring connectors etc on wires, if only they just plugged in to the rear of the climatronic unit, i'd be a happy man!
But the fusebox area wiring is where I will fail I think!
apollo13:
Its all plug and play mate! The only cock up i made was wiring the switches around the wrong way, ie drivers side turns on passenger side seat :rolleye: Its becsuse the guides i had were from europe and obviously for a left hooker! No bother to switch around though, theyve been getting a bit of use the last couple of days too!! Not that its my behind being kept warm, im stuck in the van!!
SeanyK:
Ohhh I see, so the plug meant for the passenger seat, I will put in the drivers seat?
Did you feed the wires through the center (under armrest area?)
Plug & Play sounds good to me I will give you a call when im setting up too mate,
Many thanks,
Sean
