Will be interesting to see how quickly it spools, my mapped K04 spools around 2400RPM now but doesn't really kick in till about 3200RPM. Fancy a race up the strip when it's done to see how a stage 2+ Golf R compares to a hybrid K03 GTI?

Hell yeah  :happy2:
Only on a dry day though otherwise I'll be anihalated

I've driven around 400 miles. It likes to make 28 mpg and my best so far is 31 mpg. I still have to get it tuned... Waiting for a date. :popcornsoda:

The suspension is much better than before and the brakes are awesome.

So i got a photo last Wednesday

Twintercooler hoses wern't even close to fitting, Forge said you're supposed to trim them but thats waaaay off and they didn't know why. So i ordered their front mount OEM replacement instead but its taking them a while to get made and sent, he said it would get there by Monday and i dont even think they've sent it yet  :fighting:  :fighting:. So chances are ill have to wait until next weekend now to go and get her   :sad1:

Picked up a real Black Friday bargain today, should have better clearance and be lighter than the TTRS setup.

Forge 6 pot kit with 356mm 2 piece front discs and EBC yellowstuff pads. Already been sent off for painting as I want them in red. Then need to sort the rear brakes out as well.

Nice upgrade! Big and light like we like them! :congrats:

R32 rear setup? New calipers and brackets aren't that expensive if you order TRW parts. Getting good pads it's what makes it a bit heavy on the wallet, in my opinion.

Ooh nice Dan..just in the process of getting the same kit..be interested to see how you get on as I believe you don't need to upgrade the master cylinder..also been told I won't need spacers
