So the car was so very nearly ready for this weekend but it just wasn't to be, definitely not through lack of effort as Alex has been working his balls off to get it done.

Engine is all running sweet.

There was a horrible noise from the internal AC/ heater fans when they were on too high a setting, upon further inspection this was found.


 

f*ck knows how it got in there, only thing left was to check the LPFP but now the rear speed sensor is playing up as its rusted and is fouling (will have photos next week) causing the power steering not to work properly and ABS warning light on dash. So both rear bearings will be replaced and then hopefully she will be finished

WTF!? A plastic bag got into the air intake of the AC!?

Almost done! SKF bearings are cheaper and it's one of OEM brands.

Yeah I know really got no idea how it happens, luckily all is fine and it didn't damage anything.

The bonnet covers the AC air intake. Impossible for a plastic bag to enter with all the grills. Really weird that it happened by accident...

I can't work out how it got there.  Must have been sucked up through the recirc flap.

Had some wheels refurbished for a friend and fellow member






Colour choice was spot on and they look fantastic.


Will be picking my car up this Saturday and cannot wait, also once it gets back my Turbo/ S3 injectors and 18" Monza's with nearly new tyres all round will be up for sale.
