What's the ride like on 19s ? I run 18s on blistein shocks and it's still quite smooth

I think its fine, I've had 18's and they're a bit smoother but 19's arn't uncomfortable. I've spent 6+ hours in the car quite a few times and never felt it really. Personally I think 18's are too small for the golf in most cases and you need 19's to fill the arches properly.

So the interior bits are starting to come together, missed out on an ED30 gear knob unfortunately but I picked up a bargain on this one.

Hopefully this will go on without a problem on Thursday but given my usual luck there will be some silly problem.

Very tempted to buy this although its a bit steep for a bloddy gear knob.

I don't suppose anyone knows somewhere cheaper to get one or is selling one in good condition?

Managed to get one off here for a decent price, sending it off to the trimmers next week

Going to do something a bit different with it.

Managed to get the steering wheel on Thursday thanks to @rich83.

Absolutely love it, feels so good in my hands  and really makes the car feel newer.

Not yet, found a new module on EBay for £42 so ordered that and hopefully that will sort it.

I think it might be a touch wider (might measure it and check), feels much nicer though, especially since mine was old and worn. I thought about the MK7 knob as I really like @Grande_GTi one. Seems like quite a bit of effort though and I like how chunky the ED30 one is, its going to the trimmers today so hopefully be back within a week.
