Thanks bud! Finally it's now in the more juicy stage of the upgrades, getting that engine as healthy as possible. :drinking:

Just curious to know how good it will be to drive without a limited-slip differential... I was told that my right foot will get used to it.

My mechanic is waiting for parts to finish repairing the alternator and waiting for injector seal kits to finish that arduous job of cleaning the intake. Lets see when he can finish all. :popcornsoda:

Shoduchi:
Here's another weekly update.

My mechanic is still waiting for the last injector seal kit to finish fitting the intake manifold. He told me if he receives it next Monday he'll be able to deliver the car next week. Well, I can wait another week if needed, although it has been a long time since I drove it. :sad1:

Pictures to make this topic more interesting.

Darkside Developments S3 uprated IC with alloy end tanks, silicone boost hoses and CTS Turbo pipes vs OEM IC and pipes:

CTS Turbo RFD kit fitted to the intake manifold:

That's it for now. :popcornsoda:

Shoduchi:
More pictures of the work done.

Stem valves and injectors cleaned:

Alternator fixed:

My mechanic told me that these alternators are much worse quality than the mk4 diesel Golfs (specifically the PD150). Not sure how often people have problems with their alternators...

Nice built...Now go for Awd swap ... I have an Mfacrory Dsg Lsd laying in my garage since i went awd and never install it..i would love i have done to see how it would be..For carbon built up i think methanol kit would help to keep it cleaner..
