Fitting IC

<< < (4/7) > >>

Paradox1:
yeah it can be done on a driveway. I guess the S3, ths are more discrete as the front will look no different once fitted.

probably take a few hours to fit on your own.

robmcclel:
I fitted a twintercooler to mine on little ramps on my driveway, took about 4 hours on my own, mainly because the silicone pipes provided were too long to fit and had to be trimmed to make them fit in properly. Fairly straightforward job and can feel a difference in power delivery without getting another remap.

mk5-beast-91:
both my airtec intercoolers were easy to fit on ramps at home. only need basic tools to. ive gone for black ones for the descrete look and they came complete with hoses and fittings. no mods or cutting needed to body work as they fit nicely.

xjay1337:
It's fairly easy to fit just a bit fiddly.
Need to support the radiator and AC condensor.

Beej:
Don't mean to hi-Jack, but saves me starting a new thread, are all s3 coolers the same and are they all more efficient than our standard gti ones?
