Don't you wash i either ?

After I wash mine the faces of the discs show some surface rust it comes off first time you brake ,I was told the higher the carbon content of the disc metal the quicker they show rust after washing , I once had big reds on a car and they would be tarnished by the time I was washing the forth wheel

The faces get a little manky after washing but so far the edges still have the zinc coating so they still look pretty.

More problems with the beater today.

When hot gear changes are very stiff reverse it near on impossible to select.

If left for 5 mins i can then select reverse.

Just drained out the gear box oil. The oil was thinner than i expected. I don't think this will solve the problem we will see.

Next hypothesis might be a failing clutch master/slave cylinder, right? :confused:
